Set within the rolling landscape of County Meath, this extensive country estate was completely reimagined to bridge historic grandeur with modern family life. Stylish Living was involved from the outset, designing a cohesive interior vision that honors the heritage of the property while catering to the daily realities of a vibrant, sociable family household.
A classic architectural language runs throughout the home, defined by elegant wall paneling, bespoke cornices, and richly layered textiles. Custom furniture, tailored brass inlays, and handmade window dressings appear consistently across the reception rooms, establishing a unified identity. Each room was carefully adapted to harmonize with the home’s heritage while serving a contemporary purpose.
The grand sweeping staircase strikes you as soon as you enter the hall, combining restored architectural details with hand-crafted ironwork by specialist makers. Modern performance was equally prioritized, particularly in the custom kitchen and media spaces, where high-performance appliances, concealed AV, and automated lighting integrate seamlessly into the classic timber framework.
The result is a refined, highly detailed estate that beautifully balances traditional architectural expression with modern comfort, functionality, and timeless craftsmanship, tailored uniquely for its family.
